The Method
Almost everything in this industry skips the first step. You get handed a program before anyone has established what is actually wrong. Here is the order we work in instead.
01
Data
What is actually happening
Wearables, bloodwork, body composition, and what you report every week. Measured, not assumed.
02
Diagnosis
What it means and why
The read on what is limiting you, and the program built specifically around that limit.
03
Direction
Someone steering it
Weekly review, adjustments when the data moves, and coordination with everyone else involved.
01
Data
Your wearable stops being a toy. Most people wear a device for two years and never change one decision because of it. We pull sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, and training load, and we read them as a trend rather than a daily verdict. A single bad night is noise. Six weeks of drift is information.
Alongside it: bloodwork you actually understand, body composition where it is useful, and a weekly check in that catches the things no device can see. Stress, travel, a week that fell apart, an injury you have been ignoring.
No device required. Plenty of people start with none and we work from what we can measure.
02
Diagnosis
The program is the conclusion, not the starting point. Two people with identical goals get different programs because the thing limiting them is different. One needs volume. One needs to sleep. One needs a blood panel before anyone writes them anything.
What gets built is real methodology rather than a template. Periodization with actual phases and planned progression. Heart rate zones calculated from your own maximum and resting values instead of a chart on a wall. Load managed around whatever is already compromised, whether that is a shoulder, a schedule, or a recovery capacity that is not where it should be.
03
Direction
This is the part nobody sells and everybody needs. Information has been free for twenty years. What almost nobody has is a person who notices in week three that something stopped working and changes it before the whole thing collapses.
Every week we look at what moved, what did not, and what changes. When you travel, the plan changes rather than pauses. When the data drifts, we catch it while it is still small. When something is outside what training and nutrition can fix, we say so and point you at the person who can.
Most people get help with one of them and wonder why the others do not move. All five are in scope from the first week.
01
Training that progresses, built around the week you actually have.
02
Targets you can hold, adjusted when they stop producing.
03
Sleep and load. The part that decides whether the training does anything.
04
Labs, supplements, and knowing when something is above our pay grade.
05
Stress and capacity. The thing that quietly sets the ceiling on the other four.
A chief of staff does not do every job. They hold the whole picture so that nothing falls between the people who do.
Right now your health is probably split across a doctor who sees you once a year, a physical therapist who knows one joint, a trainer who knows one hour a week, and you, holding all of it in your head between appointments. Nobody is looking at the whole thing, and the gaps between them are where problems live.
That is the job. We hold the record, we talk to the people who need to hear from each other, and we make sure the plan reflects everything rather than the last thing someone told you.
Who we coordinate with
“When I was looking for a trainer, I could tell by Cody's look and presence that he's committed to fitness and muscle building at a level that would be new for me. One factor that kept me on board is discovering that he also loves to research, understand, and teach the science behind it all. Cody's continually pushing me toward new thresholds, and I always get excited about our workouts and hate to ever miss them.”
Mike Gordon · Bassist and Co-Founder, Phish
“I've worked with trainers before, but nobody has ever taken the time to understand my schedule, my stress levels, and how all of it connects to my fitness. Cody built a program around my life, not the other way around. Within three months I had more energy, slept better, and hit PRs I hadn't touched in years.”
Joseph Ware · CEO, Helion Group
“I have been working with Cody for over a year now. Great trainer and system. Cody got me in great shape, and we continue to work to improve every week. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a system that will actually hold you accountable and give you results.”
Jeff White · Client
“I had been training consistently for two years and could not figure out why my energy kept crashing. Cody ran bloodwork in the first month and found my ferritin was low. That one number explained everything. We fixed it and within six weeks I felt like a different person. No program change, just actual information.”
Andrew · Founder
“I travel three weeks out of four. Every trainer I have ever hired built me a program for a week that does not exist. Cody built around the hotel room and the bad week, not the ideal one. It is the first thing that has actually survived a real schedule.”
Pete · Executive
“I was seeing a PT for my shoulder, a doctor annually, and trying to train around both without anyone talking to each other. Cody holds all of it. The training respects what the PT is doing, the bloodwork informs the nutrition, and I am not managing four separate conversations anymore. That coordination is worth more than any individual service.”
